Hopefully, you will now be armed with sufficient advanced warning to tackle your own particular hive tyrant (wife/girlfriend/mum/pet hamster), and gain their permission to attend your chosen event. Failing that, just cancel the mother-in-law's visit, buy your ticket and then just lie low for a few weeks (preferably whilst painting that game-winning unit)...
Club Events on Thursday Nights
If you have a cunning idea for a club event (3 week WFB campaign, 2 week 40k mini-tment, 2 month BB league, or whatever), then please contact one of the Committee. We can then help you schedule it in below, and make the other club members aware of your devious plans...
Hopefully, this format is wide open enough to allow any club member who wants to, to run an event - so its over to you to go for it !!! The events can be as demanding on your time as you want - a two week tournament, or a six week campaign, its up to you !!!
Obviously, the Committee are members too, and if we have some spare time, and a genius idea, then we may well come up with an event. However, please don't just rely on us to come up with ideas - you may be disappointed..... there is a lot of behind the scenes organising that goes on already.
