The current season is due to end the end of June with the new season due to start on Wednesday the 5th July.

Trev has volunteered to run the next league through a spreadsheet and either publish results to the Vets site or to the 1st Company Vets Facebook page...to be confirmed over the next couple of week. This will enable us to start a new league while we look at the options for a longer home to the league.

Trev has suggested we use the 2016 rules i.e the rules from the box set and the 1st season updates, and we use a slightly different scoring system:

4 for a win
2 for a draw
1 for a loss

with the same single extra point for either 3 touch downs or 3 casualties.

So, you have several weeks until the current league finishes and to add your name to the list below of who is interested in playing in the next league or to ask any questions regarding the rules or scoring system.

--------------------------------
1) Richard Robinson
2) Matthew Robinson
3) Andrew McCormack (Humans or Wood Elves)
4) Trev (Undead)
5) John Holland (Dark Elves)
6) Matthew Otter - Orcs
7)

My preference would be to use the "NAF and Death Zone 2" rules" as these will be the official NAF rules from August 2017...

but happy to use what ever people suggest.

CRP seems so little different, and as nearly all other leagues have gone over to GW rules, I think we should follow.

I have attached my version for the next rri. Plase see the attachment, and if interested sign up here.

Trev its more the league side of things the CRP is very uncomplicated in terms of spiralling expenses whilst expensive mistakes seems unnecessarily bureaucratic and over complicated for the sake of it.

Its not an issue for this RRI as I wont be playing in it as I'll be board gaming all summer!

Spiralling expenses is very similar to CRP, and as for expensive mistakes, its one D6 roll in the post game sequence, that I am certain will stop coaches hoarding cash, for no apparent reason. Quite like that myself! The rest of it is the same, until you come to the end of the season, when you have an opportunity to re-draft your team. We are not doing that for the beginning of this season, but in the future I don't see why we don't, using the existing teams from this year and VPL teams as well.

I have been staunchly against this change, but having looked into it, and noticed that every league that I have an involvement with (directly or indirectly) has already changed away from CRP.

Add me to the list Rich. Not sure on team yet, but probably Undead (the shambling variety).
