Hi All,

I'm intending to enter these to the Club group model painting competition for the 4th of April so only a month left. (http://www.1stcompanyveterans.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=159)

I've been on the scrounge for a while now and have enough parts. So here are the built models. Thanks to all who have donated spare body parts.

8 Linemen, and two of each positional player... I'm not sure I've done enough linemen as I'll be using these for journeymen as well and if my Chaos team is anything to go by I'll have to use lots... My hope is that I can have at least 3 positional players per game... Might be a tall order.

Not sure what the starting line up will be.

I think for a league it might be 7 Linemen, 3 Blitzers, 1 Witch Elf and 2 Re-rolls.
For my first few games I'm going to try 6 Linemen, 2 Blitzers, 1 Runner, 1 Assasin, 1 Witch Elf and 2 Re-rolls, just to see how useful the other skills are.
However neither give me any fan factor.

That's all for now, will have to try and get them sprayed over the weekend.

Any one up for a game Thursday? (against black figures!)

Cheers Scott

Looking pretty good, I will have to get a move on and post some of my progress up as well.

Scott, they look really good.

I don't have anything lined up for Thursday so the Dwarves are free for some Blood Bowl if you want.

Re the starting team, it seems faily good, have you had a look at this site:

Its got some good tips and thoughts on starting teams. I dont think the lack of fan factor will be much of an issue, I generally don't bother with it.

Darren

DE are very much a die by the sword team and I run mine on a knife edge, 2 Witch Elves, 4 Blitzers and 5 Lineelfs, no rerolls. Call me suicidal but I aim to kill stuff!

I've got 10 of my players pretty much built, need to do some green stuff work on their waist line to match the torsos better. I will post up some shots when there ready. I've got nothing for witch elves yet, I am thinking about just using the metal ones with some conversion work.

Hi,

My Dark Elves have just won their first game 1-0 against Darren's Dwarfs. Cracking good game. Two casualties each! the Dark Elves were playing in their away strip - Drow in the under-dark, with their eye's closed, also known as undercoated black!

Image

Did not get much benefit from the Assassin or Runner, the runner was out of range for Dump Off when sacked (school boy error), and the assassin failed to penetrate the Dwarven armour (weighted dice next time). But I'll try this starting team out again before the league starts.

Thanks for the game Darren, one of the best ever.

Cheers Scott

I'm also intending to use my Dark Eldar single figure as the apothecary. Should incentivize the team!
